Bouldin Creek Real Estate: An Eclectic Austin Neighborhood

Beginning just south of Lady Bird Lake (also known as Town Lake by many Austinites) and including all of the western SoCo (South Congress) shopping and entertainment district, the historic Bouldin Creek area offers a wealth of eclectic shopping, enticing restaurants, and outdoor recreation, all within a short walk or bicycle ride.

Located only five minutes from the heart of downtown, Bouldin Creek is also just 15 minutes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Bouldin Creek’s first home was built in 1860. The majority of homes date from the 1920s and 30s. An active and dedicated neighborhood association has helped Bouldin Creek keep its residential charm through the decades. Homes range from small cottages and bungalows (many of which have been updated and remodeled), to very large, recently built contemporary homes with prices that range upwards of $1 million.

Auditorium Shores — on the north end of the neighborhood — hosts entertainment events and concerts periodically through the year, including the popular FunFunFun Music Fest and other national acts and attractions.
