Children in Jonestown attend schools in the well-respected Lago Vista Independent School District, including Lago Vista Elementary, Lago Vista Middle School and Lago Vista High School. Both the elementary and middle schools earned a “Recognized” rating by the Texas Education Agency, while the high school was awarded an “Exemplary” rating, the highest rating given by the TEA.
“There’s so much to do here,” says Lago Vista/Jonestown Chamber of Commerce president Sherri Jander. “We have a lot of great events, such as the annual Christmas tree lighting and lots of other fun, social activities for our residents to participate in, and everyone loves the water.”
