Austin Fireworks Rules

It’s illegal to have fireworks in Austin, and getting caught could lead to a $568 fire. But residents can still have fun with wooden stick sparklers, smoke bombs, glow worms, party poppers and snappers.

Austin Police respond to fireworks complaints on the 311 system — not 911.
