Lost Creek Aquatics’ competitive swimming program was established in 2000 to nurture and develop swimmers from the ages of 5 to 18 for success in competitive swimming and success in life. While LCA teams are made up primarily of children from the Steiner Ranch and Lakeway communities, the success of the program in building strong competitors and individuals has drawn youth from all over Austin.
In fact, their success has made Lost Creek Aquatics one of Austin’s finest and fastest growing competitive swimming programs. The team has been so successful that it outgrew its initial swimming facility at Lost Creek Country Club, and the team currently trains in the junior Olympic-size heated pools of the Lakeway Swim Center and the Bella Mar Pool at Steiner Ranch. Competition is sanctioned within seven different age groups and is based on swimmers’ past performance.
