“I take pride in getting to be hands-on with the property values in my neighborhood by lending my contracting expertise to the construction, upgrades and additions to the homes here,” says Mike O’Connor, who along with his wife Shirley, own a contracting business specializing in multi-million dollar homes and renovations in Rollingwood.
“I used to be an advocate of homeschooling until we moved to Rollingwood,” says Shirley. “We moved here primarily for the award-winning public schools in the Eanes Independent School District. Now I feel great when I drop my kids off at school each morning knowing they will have the foundation to be successful. I feel just as fulfilled when I pull back into my picturesque neighborhood, especially with the family atmosphere among all the residents.”
