Designed by BrechtolRussel, this challenging 7,412-yard Par 71 championship course stretches across 275 acres in Steiner Ranch. With breathtaking Hill Country views of Lake Austin and the Balcones Natural Wildlife Preserve, members of the University of Texas Golf Club enjoy one of the finest golfing experiences in the state.

Steeped in Longhorn Tradition
Situated in Steiner Ranch between Lake Austin and Lake Travis, the UT Golf Club is just one of countless resort-style amenities that draw residents and outdoor enthusiasts to this stunning area.
The club was established in 2003 by passionate University supporters dedicated to providing members with an elite club atmosphere and a permanent home for the UT men’s and women’s golf programs. As a result, the club is steeped in the rich traditions and lively spirit of the Texas Longhorns.
More than Just Golf
The 16,000-square-foot clubhouse, with its rustic and sophisticated Hill Country design, serves as the heart of the University of Texas Golf Club. The clubhouse features well-appointed locker rooms for men and women, a Golf Pro Shop, a fascinating display of UT golf trophies and memorabilia, and a large open-air pavilion that overlooks the 18th hole. Members love the relaxing atmosphere of the bar and lounge areas, and the main dining room wows with full-length windows and a lovely fireplace. Offering a delicious, ever-changing menu, the club’s Sunday brunch is always popular.
The UT Golf Club also features an impressive practice facility with a driving range, pitching area, putting green and chipping green. At the fitness center, open seven days a week, members stay in shape with top-of-the-line cardio and weight training equipment.
An exciting new addition to the club is the Edgar O. and Melanie A. Weller Tennis Center, which offers six indoor courts, four outdoor courts, locker rooms, and a tennis shop. This facility serves as a secondary home to the University of Texas Tennis Program.
A recently opened resort-style pool is the perfect place to cool off after a tough workout. Members enjoy the luxuries of poolside dining, lounge chairs, and kiddie pools for the youngsters.
Celebrating Community
A wide variety of fun-filled social events and celebrations bring club members and their families together for camaraderie and creating long-lasting memories. The UT Golf Club hosts activities such as Member Happy Hour, Family Movie Night, the Texas Hill Country Beach Party, as well as an Independence Day fireworks celebration. Longhorn fans are treated to Friday night tailgate parties and a convenient Saturday Shuttle to UT home football games.
