The unparalleled splendor of a historic home attracts many eager buyers. While prospective shoppers may…
While Paul Kroschewsky was working on his graduate degree in Latin American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin in 1981, he offered to give his friend’s relatives, who were visiting from Europe, a tour of the area.
“When I finished, they said, ‘You’re so knowledgeable about the city and so communicative, if you ever thought of becoming a real estate agent, we think you’d be very successful,” says Paul, who speaks both Spanish and Portuguese. “That sparked something in me.”
Meet Paul Kroschewsky: Fifth-generation Central Texan, seasoned real estate expert, devoted grandfather, and dedicated volunteer.
“What I love most about being a Realtor is the satisfaction of providing excellent service and care to my clients,” says Paul. “I got into this business to help people with their real estate needs.”
With close to four decades of industry experience, including 18 years as an independent broker, Paul says he’s thrilled to be part of the Maxavenue team as it enables him to be the ultimate client advocate while providing world class service.
“The proven systems that Maxavenue has in place allow me to distinguish myself from all the competition,” he says. “Take for example, the Maximum Value Home Selling System®, which allows clients to earn up to 5 to 15 percent more for their homes. Or, Maxavenue’s Maximum Choice Home Buying System®, which takes the buyer through a detailed analysis and thorough due diligence, so we’re negotiating from the best position possible.”
Paul also recognizes the inherent value in Maxavenue’s Persona Targeted Marketing and Persona Targeted Home Staging, which attracts the buyers who are most likely to purchase the home for the highest price.
“As Maxavenue’s founder Harold Ware says, ‘If you’re marketing to everyone, you’re marketing to no one.’ Determining exactly who is inhabiting a particular neighborhood or area, helps sellers market to those individuals. It’s revolutionary,” Pauls says.
As Paul and his wife of 38 years, Laura, have lived in South and North Austin, he enjoys a broad knowledge and is comfortable showing homes in any part of the Greater Austin area.
“My philosophy and mission is to serve as I would expect to be served when purchasing or selling a home or property,” says Paul. “Most of the time it is the single largest investment a person or family makes, and I take the responsibility of assisting them very seriously.”
From starter homes to million dollar listings, Paul says he loves working with clients at all stages of homeownership, whether they’re first time buyers, retirees who are downsizing, or seasoned investors.
“I love the challenge that working with buyers and sellers offers.because everyone and every transaction is unique,” he says. “Where there’s a need, I’m going to help fulfill it.”
Paul credits his longevity in the business with making clients feel comfortable and confident, knowing they’re in good hands and achieving maximum profitability.
“I feel like my knowledge and experience combined with what I’m able to offer through Maxavenue makes the home buying and selling process smooth and very successful. I’m able to have better relationships with my clients because of the support Maxavenue has in place,” says Paul, who adds that much of his business comes from referrals and repeat clients.
The father of three and grandfather of four makes time to give back to others in need.
“I do mission work in Guatemala, helping the poorest of the poor obtain clean water,” he says.
Using his trilingual abilities, Paul assists indigent farmers by going into the mountains to find clean spring water and then helps them access it by installing PVC pipes, a holding tank, and sinks.
“The availability of clean water reduces infant mortality and the cases of dysentery among the children and prevents the organs of children and adults from being destroyed by contaminated water,” Paul explains. “We take the availability of clean water in our homes for granted but in many countries throughout the world it is a precious commodity that the poor have very limited access to.”
He also helps pregnant women in crisis in the Austin area find services they need to deliver healthy babies. He is truly a Realtor for Life!
When he isn’t working with clients or volunteering, Paul and Laura enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
“We love taking them to parks and The Thinkery,” he says. “Austin’s been a great place to raise children and I am now enjoying four beautiful young grandchildren.”
Paul and Laura also treasure Austin’s thriving culinary scene as well as its live music offerings that is enhanced by the variety of people from all over the world who have moved here to thrive and raise their families.
