Its designers, Charles Howard and 3-time U.S. Women’s Open champion Hollis Stacy, created this 7,072 yard long, 18-hole links style course to be more challenging than it may appear. Slightly rolling greens are laid in Tiff Dwarf Bermuda grass and the fairway turf is constructed in 419 Bermuda. As prevailing winds in the area are variable and blowing from several different directions throughout the year, Blackhawk can play like a different course on every visit.
