Dining from Around the World or Right Here at Home

The Blue Corn Harvest Bar & Grill adds a spicy twist to the local dinner scene. The menu boasts Southwestern items like New Mexico Pork Verdes and vibrant Southwest-influenced salads. One of the most popular entrées is the Blue Corn Crust Crispy Salmon. This, one of several signature dinner offerings, is served with crab avocado salad, roasted tomatillo buerre blanc, cheddar seared potato cake and farm-fresh vegetables of the day. Another highlight is the Tinga Chicken Rellenos, which consists of  Anaheim peppers stuffed with chipotle chicken and jack cheese on top of green chili sauce and picante cream, black beans and veggie rice.

Cedar Park’s Surf & Turf and Oyster Bar is another of the many popular local restaurants. The signature surf & turf platter invites diners to select one surf item, one turf item and their choice of two side dishes. The surf options are fried, broiled or stuffed catfish; fried or grilled shrimp; stuffed crab; or fried or grilled scallops. On the turf side, the menu offers a flat iron steak, grilled chicken breast, grilled or fried pork loin, or a steak kabob.

Local foodie favorites also include two outstanding Japanese restaurants, Soto and Umiya. Other notable restaurants are Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill, Teji’s Indian Food, Gloria’s Café, Pho What! and Mouton’s Southern Bistro.
