Excellent Local Cajun Cuisine and Chicken Fried Comfort Food
In Jonestown itself, locals love the Cajun and Creole specialties at Parrain’s Louisiana Kitchen. Diners love the authentic Louisiana gumbo, crawfish and piled-high po’boys. In nearby Lago Vista, locals make plans to eat at Bam’s Roadhouse Grill, a family-friendly restaurant where neighbors feast on Southern specialties such as chicken fried steak, fried pork chops, catfish, and the house specialty, stuffed hamburgers.
Nearby Cedar Park is brimming with good restaurants that attract diners from miles around. Two of the best well reviewed and fine dining restaurants are Soto Restaurant and Daichi Restaurant and Sushi Bar; both serve first quality, elegantly plated Japanese food.
