For everyday necessities, The Village of Westlake Shopping Center, about 5-minutes away, is a popular choice. In addition to an HEB for groceries, the center includes an Office Depot, Twin Liquors, GNC, Alyson Jon Interiors, Finley’s Barbershop, Gold’s Gym, Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, Westbank Dry Cleaners and several other retailers. Hungry and thirsty shoppers can also enjoy their favorite hot or cold beverage at Starbucks, or a tasty meal at Izumi Sushi, La Madeleine and a few of the center’s other eateries.
Courtyard shoppers also enjoy the 40-plus upscale stores and restaurants they find at The Arboretum, an outdoor shopping destination located in a park-like setting, as well as the upscale Gateway Shopping Center just across the highway from the Arboretum, both about 10 minutes away.
The Arboretum hosts custom jeweler Kirk Root Designs, Pottery Barn, and a Barnes & Noble Bookstore, among others. Gateway Shopping Center’s REI offers the finest outdoor equipment to the Courtyard’s active residents – as well as hosting shops such as The Container Store, Crate & Barrel, Old Navy and many others. When it’s time to do the weekly grocery shopping trip, health-minded locals flock to the Gateway Shopping Center and the fresh organic natural foods at its Whole Foods Market.
A Full Plate of Tasty Cuisines
Restaurants in and around the Arboretum include Austin favorite Z’Tejas, famous for its herb-chile glazed mahi-mahi, and popular date night restaurant Eddie V’s, where the whole menu is thoughtfully constructed and well-executed. Neighbors are particularly partial to Eddie V’s North Atlantic Lemon Sole.
Just across Bull Creek is Austin landmark County Line BBQ, with plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the water. Patrons treasure the beautiful setting. County Line BBQ is equally famous for its scrumptious BBQ, served “family style.”
