Fountainwood Real Estate: The Art of Country Living and the Science of Big City Convenience
Just northwest of Georgetown, Fountainwood is a custom home community in an area of rolling hills with picturesque prairie grasses and dramatic rock outcroppings. Located less than 10 minutes from historic Georgetown and only 40-50 minutes from downtown Austin and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, Fountainwood is a highly desirable place to call home because of its location and natural beauty.
Sitting along the San Gabriel River Basin with large wooded home sites, a spring-fed creek and dedicated parkland, this neighborhood began development in 1993 and was completed in 2011. Beautiful homes in a rural environment with easy access to Austin make this community popular for homeowners who commute to Georgetown or the Round Rock area. Residents enjoy the ambiance of country life, yet have access via the toll road to Austin for an occasional night out in the city.
