360 Condominiums: Ultra-Modern Living in the Heart of Downtown

Situated in the heart of downtown Austin, the 360 Condominiums Tower offers a slice of ultra-modern living. Featuring dramatic, floor-to-ceiling windows, homeowners bask in sweeping views of the Austin skyline and Lady Bird Lake.

Residents of the 360 skyscraper — Austin’s second-tallest building at 44 stories — swim in a fabulous pool, catch rays on a sundeck and work out in a top-of-the-line fitness center. The building also offers homeowners a clubroom and theater. Residents enjoy a full-service 24/7 concierge, a ground-level retail area and a social space for parties and functions.

The interiors are equally impressive. A few of the designer touches include 10-foot ceilings, hardwood floors and granite countertops. Constructed in 2008, the 430 units in the building range from 715-square-foot, one-bedroom floor plans to large, two-bedroom units with more than 2,000 square feet.

A Ninth-Floor Swim, a Night Out with Friends, and a Pedicab Ride to Work

Even though she sees it every evening out her picture windows, the high-tech entrepreneur still pauses in awe  at the breathtaking sight of the sun setting between the spires of Austin’s beautiful skyline. With plans to meet friends at a nightclub down the street, she has just enough time for a quick swim in the 9th floor pool with her daughter, who’ll stay in with her dad tonight.

The next day, the condo’s concierge makes dinner reservations for her family at their favorite downtown restaurant. She also books the building’s theater room for a party she’s hosting next week and then treats herself to a pedicab ride to her office just two blocks away. A few hours later, her husband who works from home, joins her for lunch at one of the 360’s sidewalk cafes.

“We sit outside at one of the cafés on the ground floor of our building and enjoy watching people walk by,” says Skidmore. “It’s kind of like our front porch.”

Living Downtown Offers Austin’s Best Shopping, Dining and Entertainment

People living in the 360 Condos appreciate the convenience and access downtown living offers. A dazzling selection of restaurants, nightclubs and shopping opportunities are literally just steps away, and for vacations or business travel, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is just a 20-minute drive southeast.

In addition to the exciting shopping in downtown’s own 2nd Street shopping district or on local-centric South Congress, there are multitudes of dining and nightlife opportunities in the nearby warehouse district and 6th Street entertainment district. Residents don’t have to leave downtown for groceries, either. Homeowners here do much of their grocery shopping at the flagship Whole Foods Market where they can find all of their grocery needs and then some.

Beyond Convenient, Quality Schools and More

Convenient shopping options extend beyond downtown, too. Because of the 360 Condominiums’ central location, there are ten major malls and shopping centers within a 15-minute drive. Together, these shopping centers host more than 700 retailers, department stores, movie theaters, restaurants, local merchants, and services.

And convenience extends to school-aged children, too. Children of families who live in the 360 Condominiums attend nearby schools in the Austin Independent School District, including Mathews Elementary, O. Henry Middle School and Austin High School. O. Henry and Austin High were ranked “Academically Acceptable” and Mathews received an “Exemplary” rating from the Texas Education Agency.

“I Love it here and I’m Never Moving!”

Neighbors who call the 360 Condominiums home enjoy one distinction that their building has over other condominiums. Yes, the convenience of downtown at the doorstep is wonderful — and the amenities are outstanding — but the 360 Condominiums have something more: community.

“We’re a true neighborhood. Our building is a very social building because we all actually live here, full time,” says Skidmore, a French professor at the University of Texas who sometimes bikes or walks to work. “Other downtown buildings have a large number of part-time residents, but our building is different. We all know each other and we’re very social. I love it here and I’m never moving.”
