Outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers appreciate Canyon Creek’s proximity to the Balcones Canyonland Preserve, just a few miles away. The preserve is a national wildlife refuge created to protect eight endangered species, their habitat and other native plants and animals of the Texas Hill Country. Also popular and close by, Lake Travis and Lake Austin offer endless opportunities for water sports and hiking, or just relaxing and enjoying the breathtaking views.
