“We love the feeling of being secluded and private with the trees, park and hills,” says Elizabeth, who along with her husband Allen, transplanted here from far away Northern England. For Elizabeth and Allen, Lakewood’s parkland paradise lifestyle and convenient 20-minute drive to Austin’s bustling city center for work and pleasure was the perfect fit for their active lives. “It’s like living in the country it’s so quiet, yet we have everything we could ever ask for right here.” says Allen.
